Can I choose which vaccine to get?

Manitoba is currently offering the Pfizer (Comirnaty) and Moderna (Spikevax) vaccine for ages 6 months and up. Both are safe and highly effective for preventing severe disease from COVID-19.

If the location where you are being immunized has both products in stock, you may be able to choose which vaccine you receive. However, if only one is available to you, take it as both are safe and effective options recommended by doctors.
